Elizabeth the Duck

Elizabeth's Last Day as a Duck!
Oh my! I could go on and on and on about how wonderful Elizabeth's preschool experience was this year! We were incredibly blessed to have Ms. Shanna and Ms. Christi as her precious teachers! They loved her so well and took such good care of my big girl, continually pointing her to Jesus:)
I know they don't keep track of such things, but Elizabeth did have perfect attendance in her first year of preschool. We managed to dodge most of the bugs and her one illness occurred over a weekend, so no school was missed:) Elizabeth, as she chose to be called rather than Lizzie, thrived and was stretched in her new atmosphere. I saw some shyness emerge that I didn't know was there, and her fear of the unknown and fear of failure was evident in a few circumstances like riding a horse on western day, the mass pandemonium of the Easter egg hunt, and new games like egg on a spoon relays. Overall though, I saw my sweet girl being a really great friend to everyone in her class, including others when they seemed left out, responding well to authority, being helpful to anyone in need, absorbing new information, and growing into such an awesome 4 1/2 year old! You are beautiful inside and out Elizabeth Grace Bassett, and we love your more than words can say!
Here are a few of my favorite pics from the year...
