Arriving in NJ, Fireworks, and a State Trooper

07.13.2005

Hey guys,

I just wanted to update everyone on what's going on here in NJ. On Monday, July 4, we arrived at our home in Garfield, NJ at 1:00 am. Upon our arrival across the New Jersey border, we were welcomed into the state of New Jersey by being pulled over by a New Jersey state trooper. He was doing a "random commercial vehicle inspection". Basically, he was bored and found something to entertain himself for about 15 minutes.

Later on Monday, we got to see the Macy's Fourth of July Firework Show with about 2 million of our neighbors. Needless to say, it was very cool! During the last week, Angela and I have been trying to settle into our new apartment. Angela's mom came last wednesday to help us out and she is leaving today. She has been a huge help!

Sunday morning, July 10, I had the opportunity to preach. It was a great time and i felt it went well. Thank you to everyone who knew about this and prayed for us during this time. The Lord really answered your prayers.

Please pray for our ministry as we continue to build momentum in starting a college/young adult ministry. Our next gathering will be Sunday night, July 31. We will update you with more prayer requests soon.

For His Glory,

justin
