THE WELL--FIRST GATHERING MONDAY NIGHT, JUNE 27 @ 8:00

Hey everyone! Please be praying about this. We have not publicized this gathering to the community--only the young adults who are part of the local church. We plan to hold our first publicized gathering sometime in September when the fall semester starts. Pray that I convey the vision clearly and correctly and that young adults will desire to be part of this ministry. Pray for us as we launch our small groups ministry. We currently have one small group. Our desire is that everyone who comes to the well gatherings will be plugged into a small group to grow spiritually, fellowship, and serve together. We will let you know how it all goes in the near future.

The Great Adventure

06.08.05 I commence on a 27 hour, 2 day trip from Fort Worth, TX to the new apartment in Garfield, NJ. Along the way, I visit Oren and Cindy in Louisville (which was a treat)! Leaving Angela for two weeks has been incredibly tough, so please pray for our marriage and our relationship with the Lord. She is under contract and can't come until July. On June 28, I will fly to Texas, and we will move all of our stuff to NJ. Please pray for our ministry as we focus on reaching 18-30 year olds with the gospel of Jesus Christ! As for naming our ministry, we are praying about calling it "The Well". The well is a place where people can come and meet a wonderful, glorious Savior and Lord who is the only source of water that doesn't cause you thirst again. Once you taste water from the living well, water from broken cisterns just isn't enough. We will keep you updated on our decision. Please let us know what you think.

This picture was taken from the top of the Empire State Building. This is where we live! If you look up to the top left corner of the picture, you can see our apartment (just kidding). Our apartment is located within 10 miles northwest of here!!!
